Samsung galaxy S5 is one of the most anticipated devices of 2014 and we don't see why not. Samsung has been a major contributor to the development of the android market and with every device it launches it sets a benchmark for everyone else to beat.
A new rumour now claims that the South Korean handset maker will be holding a global event in London scheduled around mid-March.The event is said to be for the unveiling of the company's next flagship smartphone, widely expected to be dubbed Galaxy S5. The news comes courtesy a freelance journalist named Flavio, who claims to get the information from a reliable source. The tweet reads, "Samsung to hold its next Global launch (S5?) event in London in a mid March date, a reliable source confirmed me."
Samsung's executive VP, Lee Young-hee had recently confirmed that the flagship device would be launching in Mid 2014.
He had added that the phone will be paired to the next generation of galaxy gear. He also confirmed that the device might include IRIS scanning, making it the first smartphone use this feature.

At this point of time we know that Samsung will be launching the device in two variants.
A premium metal body version which will be powered by the true Octa Core 64-bit Exynos chipset.
The cheaper plastic bodied device will be powered by the next generation snapdragon quad core chip.
Going by the trend the flagship device might sport a 16-20MP Camera and 3Gigs of Random Access Memory.
On the software department the device will obviously be powered by the Android Kitkat 4.4 and we might see a new user experience which is the successor of touchwiz as seen here.
