Breaking bad was one of the most gripping television dramas of in recent television history. With an amazing cast, able direction and an intriguing story-line, breaking bad was a runaway hit on the small screen.
When the series came to a conclusion in winter 2013 all the fans were left wanting for more. Perhaps nothing can come close to the quality of this series.
Later that year series creator Vince Gillian made an announcement that would have thrilled most of the breaking bad fans. In the series breaking bad one of the most prominent characters was the lawyer Saul Goodman.
Better Call Saul, is a spin off series based on Saul Good man's adventures as a lawyer.
It is going to be a Hour long drama with a bit more comic element.
The series will primarily focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White's lawyer.
The series is expected to star Bob Odenkirk, who has played Saul for several seasons, with writer-producer Peter Gould set to run the effort, as it was Gould who created the character back in season two.Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, who conceived of the spinoff with Gould, will remain involved, and noted in late July that it was his "fervent wish" that the spinoff move forward. At that time, Odenkirk added: "I'd do it in a second." A formal series order won't come until Gould, Gilligan and Odenkirk have deals finalized, a topic on which the network and studio declined comment.
In the US and Canada , the complete first season of "Saul" will be available to Netflix members after its season finale on AMC Networks. The deal makes Netflix the exclusive subscription television service in all its territories for "Saul," as it is in certain territories for the recently concluded "Breaking Bad."
We were wondering why funnyman Odenkirk is up to the task of a drama Stillerman cited Odenkirk’s performance in the recent film “Nebraska.”
“I think we were all blown away when we saw his work in ‘Nebraska,’ because we all knew he was a great actor, Bob is in the movie in a very, very uncharacteristic role … nothing comedic about it. And not only does he hold his own, he’s really terrific. He’s got a lot of depth and a lot of real acting chops. It’s gonna be fun to see what these guys come up with, to stretch the boundaries of what it means to be a drama.”
Better call saul enter's production this summer. The pilot will be aired somewhere between August-October 2014. We can't wait for the pilot and the millions of fans of breaking bad would probably agree with us.
We will keep you updated with the developments related to this series. Keep checking out this space.
